Tiny But Mighty
Background:
This concept includes photography of the small creatures I've seen, edited and put in the format for a magazine. Exploring styles such as a comic, and informative to captivate adolescent audiences (11-16 years old).
My role:

Editing
Creating a comic effect I adjusted highlights and shadows and used the Photoshop Filter Gallery to add a 'Poster edges' effect and 'Cutout'. This will simplify the image by reducing amount of colours and add black lines to edges.
To create the dotted old fashioned printer effect, I used 'Colour halftone' in the Filter - 'Pixelate' dropdown. With a duplicate overlay of the original with the Filter gallery - 'Glowing edges', and 'Torn edges' to bring out the out lines and adjust the images contrast, balance and smoothness.
