Using elements from conventional magazines such as the TIME magazine, where one person (or dog in my case) is the main focus in the center, with limited text on the cover.
This niche special interest magazine type would be aimed at dog owners/lovers with tips on health, wellbeing and behavior.

With high-quality imagery, engaging typography (dogfiles), and well-balanced composition, the design appeals to dog lovers while maintaining a professional, editorial feel. Each element is carefully layered and styled to highlight key stories and create visual interest throughout the magazine.
Using the refine edge tool I was about to allow hairlines show in the cutout of the fluffy pets I photograph and make them the main focus of this magazine to attract the target audience.

Marketizing Humans & Hounds
To develop this concept further I created mockups of products that Humans and Hounds could create such as branded leashes and their very own humans and hounds collection bowl set.
This has potential to be on a range of pet accessories such as pooh-bag holders, toys and brushes.

Exploring different placements for the text on the leashes, and is adaptable for a range of colours

A quirky gift for dog owners, a matching bowl set for humans and their pooches.
